Indiana High School Volleyball - Jay County over Blackford

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) and the visiting Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), saw Jay County's volleyball squad beat Blackford by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Jay County upgrades its record to 6-7 on the year. The Patriots travel to South Adams (Berne, IN) to play the Starfires in a Allen County bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Starfires go into the bout with a record of 19-2. South Adams won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Heritage (Monroeville, IN)

The Bruins now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they host Taylor for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. Blackford will play a Titans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eastbrook (Marion, IN). The Titans record now stands at 1-11.
