In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Cardinal Comets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Moulton-Udell Eagles.
The Comets (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Prairie City-Monroe went down by West Marshall (State Center, IA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) in a Bluegrass battle, on Thursday, September 21. Moulton-Udell will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Sabers come into the battle with a 4-11 record after their 2-0 league win over Lamoni (Lamoni, IA).
