The Vashon Island Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Charles Wright Tarriers to 2 in the Pirates league victory on Monday.
The Pirates now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Annie Wright for a 1A Nisqually game on Wednesday, September 20. Vashon Island will confront a Gators team coming off a 3-0 league win over Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA). The Gators record now stands at 5-0.
The Tarriers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Life Christian Academy (Tacoma, WA). The Eagles enter the 1A Nisqually game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Life Christian Academy was nudged by Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA), 3-0, in a league game.
