In Monday's non-league battle, the host Olympic Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Garinger Wildcats.
The Trojans (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinal come into the So Meck 4A battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Berry defeated West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) in a Southwestern 4A battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Garinger will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Ravens come into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC).
