The Maple River Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Madelia Blackhawks to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now have a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enderlin for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. Maple River will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hankinson (Hankinson, ND). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.
The Blackhawks (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Alden-Conger (Alden, MN). The Knights enter the Valley game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Alden-Conger gained a win over Loyola (Mankato, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
