In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Mansfield Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Waldron Bulldogs.
The Tigers (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against Eureka Springs (Eureka Springs, AR). The Highlanders come into the 2A West battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Eureka Springs lost by Lavaca (Lavaca, AR), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) in a 4A West battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Waldron will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 0-10 record after their 3-2 league loss to Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR).
