Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) and the host Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), saw Anderson County's soccer squad knock off Shelby County by a count of 4-1.

The Bearcats (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Golden Lions enter the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Garrard County by Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Rockets confront the Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) in a District 30 battle, on Thursday, September 19. Shelby County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Butler (Louisville, KY).
