Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Proctor Academy Hornets (Andover, NH), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Austin Prep moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Lions come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Hornets now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host New Hampton School for a Lakes Region test on Friday, September 20. Proctor Academy will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 4-1 league win over Vermont Academy (Saxtons River, VT). The Huskies record now stands at 2-0.
