Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN) and the host Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN), saw Northwestern's soccer squad triumph over Elwood by a count of 6-0.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Tri-Central was overwhelmed by Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 19. Elwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 3-0 league win over New Castle (New Castle, IN).
