The Lake View Chiefs football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Lubbock Westerners to 21 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Chiefs now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Levelland for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Lake View will meet a Lobos squad coming off a 24-19 non-league loss to Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Lubbock drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Westerners travel to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX) to meet the Rebels in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-0.
