Virginia High School Volleyball - Western Branch over Deep Creek

The Western Branch Bruins volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Deep Creek Hornets to 0 in the Bruins league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bruins now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Nansemond River for a outing on Wednesday, September 25. Western Branch will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Deep Creek drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 25. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a record of 3-7. Lakeland lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA)
