Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Weston Trojans (Weston, CT), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Pomperaug improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Immaculate (Danbury, CT) to encounter the Mustangs in a test on Friday, September 20. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newtown for a non-league test on Friday, September 20.
