The Whetstone Braves soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Beechcroft Cougars to 1 in the Braves league victory on Wednesday.
The Braves now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westerville North for a non-league bout on Monday, September 23. Whetstone will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Westland (Galloway, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Beechcroft moves to 1-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to South (Columbus, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, September 23. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-4. South lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Independence (Columbus, OH)
