Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Phoenixville Phantoms (Phoenixville, PA) and the host Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA), saw Phoenixville's soccer squad hold off Boyertown by a count of 4-3.

The Phantoms (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA). The Wildcats enter the Pioneer battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Owen J. Roberts tipped Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bears battle the Upper Perkiomen Indians (Pennsburg, PA) in a Pioneer battle, on Friday, September 20. Boyertown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 3-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA).
