Connecticut High School Soccer - Taft School knocks off Westminster School

The Taft School Big Red soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Westminster School Martlets to 0 in the Big Red league victory on Wednesday.
The Big Red now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Kingswood Oxford for a Founders bout on Saturday, September 21. Taft School will play a Wyverns squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Canterbury School (New Milford, CT). The Wyverns record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Westminster School moves to 0-2 on the year. The Martlets host Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT) to play the Highlanders in a NEPSAC Freelance bout on Saturday, September 21. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Frederick Gunn won 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against King (Stamford, CT)
