The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Westview (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Duchesne/Roncalli (Omaha, NE), observed Westview's softball team prevail over Duchesne/Roncalli by a tally of 13-4.

The (7-7) will now prepare for their bout against Burke (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs go into the A District bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Burke was routed by Omaha South (Omaha, NE), 12-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the battle the Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 19. Duchesne/Roncalli will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Standing Bear (Lincoln, NE).
