The Parkway West Longhorns triumphed over the visiting Lutheran South Lancers softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Longhorns play the Parkway South Patriots (Manchester, MO) in a Class 4 District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Parkway West will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Cor Jesu Academy (St. Louis, MO).
The Lancers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis Borgia (Washington, MO). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis Borgia overcame Westminster Christian (St. Louis, MO), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
