Georgia High School Softball - Pope sneaks past Mount Paran Christian

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Pope Greyhounds softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Mount Paran Christian Eagles.
The Greyhounds (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Titans come into the non-league match with a 7-13 record. In their last match, Blessed Trinity was nipped by Kell (Marietta, GA), 12-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the North Paulding Wolfpack (Dallas, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 23. Mount Paran Christian will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 17-4 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, GA).
