In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Academy of Our Lady Penguins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the South Terrebonne Gators.
The Penguins (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverdale (Jefferson, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Riverdale lost by Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Gators play the Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. South Terrebonne will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over East St. John (Reserve, LA).
