Corona/Vaughn Cardinals (Corona, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Corona/Vaughn improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Capitan (Capitan, NM) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-5.
The Trojans now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mora for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Wagon Mound will face a Rangers/Rangerettes squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Rangers/Rangerettes record now stands at 3-6.
