Georgia High School Volleyball - Hilton Head Island tips Savannah Country Day

September 18, 2024: Savannah, GA 31419

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Savannah Country Day Hornets.

The Seahawks (5-15) will now prepare for their challenge against May River (Bluffton, SC). The Sharks come into the AAAA Region 7 challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, May River was nudged by Bishop England (Charleston, SC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hornets play the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a 1A Area 3 challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Savannah Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 15-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA).
