In Wednesday's league challenge, the host McDonough Rams volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Thomas Stone Cougars.

The Rams (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves come into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Chopticon lost by Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Monday, September 23. Thomas Stone will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Westlake (Waldorf, MD).
