Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI), 35-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Merrill improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Lakeland (Minocqua, WI) to face the Thunderbirds in a Great Northern challenge on Friday, September 26. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Lakeland lost 20-18 in their recent league challenge against Medford (Medford, WI)

The Red Robins (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI). The Hodags go into the Great Northern challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Rhinelander was ripped by Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI), 49-7, in a league challenge.
