New Jersey High School Football - St. Joseph defeats Cumberland

September 18, 2025: Hammonton, NJ 08037

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) and the visiting Cumberland Colts (Seabrook, NJ), witnessed St. Joseph's football squad topple Cumberland by a count of 13-3.

The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ). The Tigers enter the West Jersey - Liberty contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Lower Cape May thwarted Absegami (Galloway, NJ), 33-7, in a league contest.

Next up, the Colts encounter the Middle Township Panthers (Cape May Court House, NJ) in a West Jersey - Liberty bout, on Thursday, September 25. Cumberland will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 46-0 league loss to Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ).
