West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA), 41-0 in a non-league match.

The Buccaneers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Cardinals come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record.

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 26. Eleanor McMain will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Saints go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 42-41 non-league win over Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA).
