Texas High School Football - McLean tops Springlake-Earth

The McLean Tigers football squad scored 74 points and limited the visiting Springlake-Earth Wolverines to 52 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Miami for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. McLean will face a Warriors team coming off a 30-14 non-league win over White Deer (White Deer, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.

The Wolverines (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Happy (Happy, TX). The Cowboys go into the 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 2 (6 Man) test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Happy was defeated by Whitharral (Whitharral, TX), 64-6, in a non-league test.
