In Thursday's non-league game, the St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) football team edged the visiting Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), by a tally of 26-22.
In their next game, the battle the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a Class 2A South game, on Friday, September 26. St. Charles will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 58-0 non-league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Northern was tipped by North Point (Waldorf, MD), 27-19, in a non-league bout.
