Mississippi High School Football - Tupelo Christian Prep triumphant over Strayhorn

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles (Belden, MS) and the visiting Strayhorn Mustangs (Sarah, MS), witnessed Tupelo Christian Prep's football squad wallop Strayhorn by a tally of 51-6.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Falkner smashed Thrasher (Booneville, MS), 54-24, in a non-league bout.

The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Independence for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Strayhorn will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 14-12 non-league win over West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
