Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their soccer squad hold off the visiting Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), 3-2 in a non-league outing.

The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights enter the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Grayslake North was edged by Round Lake (Round Lake, IL), 1-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Giants confront the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 24. Highland Park will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
