The Eagle Point Eagles soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Phoenix Pirates to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henley for a non-league contest on Monday, September 22. Eagle Point will face a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Mary's (Medford, OR). The Hornets record now stands at 4-0.
The Pirates (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Henley (Klamath Falls, OR). The Hornets enter the 4A Skyline contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Henley held off Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
