In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Hedgesville Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Hampshire Trojans.
The Eagles (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Patriots go into the Eastern Panhandle outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Washington got by Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Trojans play the Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 20. Hampshire will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Campers come into the game with a 4-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV).
