Fans at Thursday's league battle between the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) and the visiting Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT), saw North Country Union's soccer squad knock off Montpelier by a count of 3-0.

The Falcons (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Spaulding (Barre, VT). The Crimson Tide enter the Capital battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Spaulding by Peoples Academy (Morrisville, VT), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Solons confront the Thetford Academy Panthers (Thetford, VT) in a Capital battle, on Saturday, September 20. Montpelier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 7-1 league loss to Harwood (Moretown, VT).
