In Thursday's league outing, the host Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the St. John's Prep Johnnies.
The Wolves (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy by East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN), 5-1, in a non-league test.
The Johnnies now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Cloud Cathedral for a Class A Section 8 test on Monday, September 22.
