The South Iredell Vikings were victorious over the visiting Alexander Central Cougars football team by a score of 28-16 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 2. South Iredell will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, St. Stephens notched a victory over Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC), 14-13, in a non-league outing.
