North Carolina High School Football - South Point falls to Ashbrook

September 18, 2025: Belmont, NC 28012

The Ashbrook Greenwave felled the host South Point Red Raiders football team by a score of 32-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greenwave face the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Ashbrook will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Mountaineers go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 37-0 non-league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC).

The Red Raiders (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies come into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Huss topped North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 19-13, in a non-league test.
