The Liberty-Eylau Leopards football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Bullard Panthers to 15 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Leopards now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Vernon for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24.

With the defeat, Bullard drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Carthage (Carthage, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
