Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 30-6 in a non-league match.

The Chargers (3-1) will now prepare for their match against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, North Stanly defeated Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 27-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans meet the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 25. Olympic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 16-12 non-league win over Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC).
