North Carolina High School Football - South Johnston sneaks past Harnett Central

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host South Johnston Trojans football team scored a tight 41-36 win over the Harnett Central Trojans.

With the win, South Johnston upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 3-1. Union Pines won 46-0 in their recent non-league test against West Johnston (Benson, NC)

With the defeat, Harnett Central drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Western Harnett won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC)
