The Eagles now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lee County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Northside will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 22-14 non-league loss to Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Jones County drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Peach County (Fort Valley, GA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-2. Peach County lost 64-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA)
