In Thursday's non-league game, the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) football team overcame the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), by a tally of 36-26.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 25. Triton will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).
