In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Mattawan Wildcats football squad scored a close 26-20 triumph over the Norrix Knights.
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record.
Coming up next, the Knights confront the Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 25. Norrix will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
