The West Bladen Knights walloped the host Union Spartans football team by a score of 48-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. West Bladen will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Wolfpack go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 30-16 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, NC).

The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards come into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Lakewood triumphed over North Duplin (Calypso, NC), 30-0, in a non-league test.
