With the win, Cardinal Newman improves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC) to encounter the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 0-4.

The Crusaders now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Northside Christian Academy will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.
