Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cadets (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Boone (Thorntown, IN). The Stars come into the challenge with a 0-1 record.

Next, the Sparkplugs play the University Trailblazers (Carmel, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. Speedway will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
