In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Kewanee Boilermakers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the JV Opponent .
The Boilermakers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Trojans come into the test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Mendota went down by Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
The now sport a 66-163 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wabash Valley HomeSchool for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. JV Opponent will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Indy Genesis HomeSchool (Greenwood, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
