Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Ravens come into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record.

Next, the Mustangs face the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 29. Myers Park will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 2-13 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
