In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Belmont Bison soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Springfield Wildcats.
The Bison (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood, OH). The Rams enter the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Trotwood-Madison tipped Meadowdale (Dayton, OH), 5-4, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 20. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH).
