The Hornets (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Newton (Newton, KS). The Railroaders go into the non-league outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Newton got by Maize (Maize, KS), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Lions play the Derby Panthers (Derby, KS) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 23. Goddard will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 1-0 league win over Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS).
