The Somerset Eagles held off the host Greater Johnstown Trojans soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.

The Eagles now hold a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Central for a Laurel Highlands 1 bout on Tuesday, September 23. Somerset will play a Dragons squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Tyrone (Tyrone, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Greater Johnstown moves to 1-9 on the year. The Trojans host Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA) to play the Raiders in a Laurel Highlands 1 bout on Monday, September 22. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Bellefonte won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA)
