In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Hammond Central Wolves soccer team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Griffith Panthers.

With the triumph, Hammond Central advances its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Crown Point (Crown Point, IN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-4. Crown Point won 3-0 in their recent league test against Chesterton (Chesterton, IN)

The Panthers now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hammond Bishop Noll for a Greater South Shore outing on Tuesday, September 23. Griffith will play a Warriors squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 9-1.
